Professional Development For All Age Groups
Roots & Sky founder, Nicole Corbo, will support you in meeting the needs of your unique classroom, program, or school. We work together to design a nature-based training that’s specific to your outdoor learning space(s) and best suits you, your staff, and your learning community. Working with groups who serve the earliest learners on through those in higher education, we will always address best practices related to safety, social & emotional learning, and academic standards. We will address all topics through the lens of anti-racism, anti-bias, equity, inclusion, and accessibility. Outdoor nature-based learning is for everyone!

Next Series Fall 2024
Series offerings.
Each Professional Development Learning Series (PDLS) has three distinct workshops that intersect at different points, so they can weave together themes and ideas, building upon them for scaffolded learning.
PDLS begin with a focus on educator well being. We then explore the many ways it is possible to provide a high-quality outdoor learning experience. Finally, we round off the series with a special skills workshop that will enhance outdoor experiences for both students and educators.
Join us for a whole series or simply pick the workshop(s) most relevant for your own professional development. While each series offering will follow this same thematic structure, they all promise to provide unique learning opportunities rooted in the skills and expertise brought by the session leaders.
