Each Professional Development Learning Series (PDLS) has three distinct workshops that intersect at different points, so they can weave together themes and ideas, building upon them for scaffolded learning or be enjoyed a la cart to best meet your professional development needs.
In order for outdoor learning to be high-quality, it must include people of all abilities, so in this workshop, you will explore strategies and approaches for welcoming all families; you will reflect on your intersectionality and positionality, especially related to ableism. You will also gain an understanding of laws and policies impacting accessibility.
