This winter's series explores some of the many ways we can ensure joyful outdoor learning is for everyone.

Our sessions always begin with a focus on teacher well-being, because we educators and caregivers must be well and cared for if we are to fully show up for others. In this session, you will learn a nature-based approach to assessing your needs with honesty and clarity, as well as tools and techniques to ensure you are fully resourced.

In our second workshop, we’ll explore what it means to provide high-quality nature-based learning for everyone by assessing your nature-based education programs and developing an action plan to improve inclusion of children with disabilities and their families in your programs and activities.

We will finish off the series with a special skill: how to quell big feelings about more-than-humans that make a person say, “eek,” as well as how to keep everyone safe, even when the big feelings have kids saying, “awww.” You will learn about facilitating wonder and respect for all living beings.
